Overview

Cresset Private Capital investing team makes direct investments in operating companies where we have experience. We focus on long term partnerships with like-minded entrepreneurs, founders, and management teams. We believe in long-term, flexible, and patient capital avoiding misalignment, friction and unfavorable fee structures, which can produce inefficient results for business owners and investors.


Investment Criteria

Size

We typically invest $10 – $100 million in unique U.S.-based businesses with more than $5 million of EBITDA.

Structure

We do our best when we invest in transactions where we partner with owners and management to jointly drive strategy and execution to create long-term value. Given our long-term orientation, we are flexible regarding control and transaction structure and focus on creating strong equity alignment among our team and our investment partners and management.
