Managing Partner, Private Capital
Chris Boehm is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Cresset Partners, an alternative asset manager making investments in private equity, real estate, secondaries and other asset classes. He leads Cresset Partners’ private capital efforts, making control and non-control equity and structured debt investments in private companies across a range of industry verticals, and serves on its investment committee. Chris is also a co-founder of Cresset Capital Management (“CCM”), Cresset Partners’ parent company and the parent company of Cresset, a Chicago-based wealth management firm.
Prior to co-founding CCM and Cresset Partners, Chris spent over twenty years as a private equity partner and finance and strategy executive with Willis Stein & Partners. During that time, he led investments in a number of private companies across a range of industries, including business and industrial services, consumer services, education and health care. He also was a co-founder and member of the board of directors of Lincoln Clean Energy, a renewable energy development platform established in 2009. Prior to joining Willis Stein, Chris began his career in the investment banking group of Salomon Brothers.
Chris resides in Winnetka, IL with his wife and three children. He is active in the Chicago community and serves as a member of the board of directors of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund, the Evans Scholars Foundation and the Western Golf Association.
