Jason Ross is a Managing Director, Cresset Real Estate Partners, focusing on real estate investing and Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs). He leads the acquisition efforts for Cresset’s QOZ strategy, including deal sourcing, term sheet and joint venture negotiations, and financing. Jason has been responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and capitalizing over $800 million of acquisition development investments representing approximately $300 million in equity.
Jason’s experience also includes sourcing debt and equity, and re-positioning multiple value-add, opportunistic, and ground-up multi-family properties.
Prior to Cresset Partners, Jason was Director of Capital Markets at VennPoint Real Estate, where he was responsible for financing, overseeing lender and investor relationships, sourcing, and managing opportunistic commercial real estate investments.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in entrepreneurship, with a focus in real estate and finance from Syracuse University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and is involved in numerous educational and philanthropic organizations, including The Urban Land Institute, Jewish United Fund, and Young Presidents Organization Next Generation.
